Dear Thunderbird Enthusiast,

The Lehigh Valley Thunderbird Club, Inc. was founded in 1973 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the Thunderbird Automobile. The Club is a registered chapter of the “Classic Thunderbird Club International” and is also the #3 registered chapter of the “International Thunderbird Club”.

The mission of the Club is to provide for its members an opportunity to exchange ideas, make new acquaintances, and assist with technical support. All of our members, individually and as a whole, are committed to various community charitable organizations; contributing both financial support and volunteer time.

Initial membership fee is nominal, as are renewals. Our Club meets generally once a month, and in the warmer weather the Club sponsors many car shows and activities which are open to all. Membership is open to owners of T-Birds, of any year, as well as to those people who just appreciate the Thunderbird.

The Lehigh Valley Thunderbird Club awaits the opportunity to welcome new members and, as a point of interest to show how our Club has grown over the past 22 years, have printed here a copy of the original hand-written notes from its first meeting that we hope you will enjoy reading along with the current member roster.

We look forward to meeting you at our next function and appreciate your interest in our Club.
