Shows and Cruises coming up soon, well maybe not that soon, about 45 days until the first car-related activity.
Until then stay warm and safe and remember before you do start the car for the first time this spring check all your fluids and your exhaust system and your electrical system to make sure it’s in top shape for the upcoming show season!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Lehigh Valley Thunderbird Members,
I hope everyone had a great holiday and are looking forward to an exciting 2019! While the weather was rainy and damp, I liked it better than snowy and slippery!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday and you are well rested and ready for the upcoming festivities of the next month. The Hallmark Channel is in full holiday mode in case you missed it!
Happy November and THANKSGIVING to all our members!
It is hard to believe, but another car show season is ended! I must admit, my Thunderbirds, all three of them, spent more time in the garage, out of the rain, than they did outside. My wife was com-plaining that I did not take her out for ice cream, or even for a run down the shore. The weather was terrible this Spring, Summer and even into the Fall, so most shows either where can-celled or went on in the rain.
First, I hope everyone has “weathered” Hurricane Florence safely! With hurricane season still here, hopefully everyone makes it through with minimal impact.
This Auto Show season has certainly been a “bust” due to the wet, humid conditions in our area. We did luck out and have a good day for our show, but many of the shows were not as lucky.
While October should bring drier weather, the last big show is typically the North Catasauqua show. The flyer is in this newsletter, so plan on coming out to it. Look for where we will meet at and let’s all try to get there for a good club showing.
Well car enthusiasts, car lovers, car people, whatever you want to classify your-selves as, here we are in September. You have about 60 days until this car show season is shot, done, kaput, finished, So if you have not gotten to an event this year, you are running out of time fast.
The Nazareth Day Car Show was a great success. Everyone was so busy, we did not get time to take pictures of the field, but we had some great cars there! Check out this month’s newsletter to see them!
Hello and Happy July to Everyone!
I hope everyone has a Great Independence Day planned, filled with family and friends.
